Ways to Conceive a Boy
Whether you are trying for your first child, or have a room full of daughters and want to make sure your next baby will be a son you've probably heard that there are ways that you can help sway Mother Nature in your favor in choosing the gender of your child. Different positions, certain foods, even timing ovulation can all help in determining what sex your baby will be. It all sounds so complicated doesn't it? Well never fear because I'll go over some of the ways you can conceive a boy effortlessly.
But before we get to that, I thought I'd give you a little biology lesson so you can understand the workings of conception. Don't worry - it won't be as bad as when your parents sat you down for the birds and the bees talk, but there are a few things you need to know to help you get that baby boy.
You see it's the guy's sperm that determines what sex your child is going to be. You'll either get an X chromosome sperm (girl sperm) or Y chromosome sperm boy sperm) to reach the egg first and make that baby.
So if you want a male baby then you'll need to make sure that the Y sperm reaches the egg first.
So how do you do that?
Well luckily we know that the Y male sperm is very fast and all things being equal in a race would be the first to reach the finish line. However he isn't very strong and if he hasn't got to an egg in time, will often die within a day or two.
This brings us to the X female sperm. She isn't so fast, but lives much longer - often up to 5 days. She can be waiting around happily biding her time until the egg comes along and jump on her chance to fertilize it.
So how does all this help you have a boy baby?
Well you need to be able to time things correctly. Obviously your best chances of getting pregnant with a male baby is by having sex as close to ovulation as possible so that the X sperm can get to the egg first.
You can try also different positions that put the sperm right at the entrance to the cervix so they won't have as far to go.
All of these ways to conceive a boy can help you get one step closer to your dream of having the child of your choice. It's all down to timing and knowing how the different sperm act.

The Ashley Spencer Pick the Gender of Your Baby eBook is a guide on how you can conceive a child of the gender of your choice written by mother of four Ashley Spencer.
The Pick the Gender of Your Baby eBook guide claims to have helped nearly 12,000 couples conceive a boy or girl baby (depending on their preference) and boasts a 94.8% success rate.
Ashley Spencer says that after having three boys of her own and desperately wanting a girl she stumbled on a gender selection seminar that a friend had taken. Using the notes from that 2 day seminar and further research from various methods including the Shettles Method, the Ericsson Method, the Dr Jonas Method and others she weeded out the inconsistencies and took what worked and combined them to develop this eBook.
From all of the gender selection manuals online, we found that Pick the Gender of Your Baby was by far the best choice in terms of amount of information provided and easy to follow instructions that Spencer outlines for either sex.
Ashley Spencer writes well and is very thorough in her research. We also liked that she offers a lifetime refund policy which is very rare to see these days (most other guides only offered a 60 day refund which is rather pointless as you'll never be able to get your money back if you don't get the child you were after). It was also pleasing to find out that it has a virtually non-existent refund rate which means that everybody is keeping their purchase and are obviously happy with the results.

However on the down side we do think this book is rather expensive for an information product. For $47.00 it a lot of money to be spending on an eBook and can understand that this price would put a lot of people off.
Many doctors are also questioning whether diet has an influence on gender selection as well (diet is just one of the methods, combined with ovulation timing and different sexual positions that you抣l find inside). Many professionals say that diet, while it does influence general fertility overall, doesn't have anything to do with getting pregnant with a boy or girl baby.
Overall we really liked the book and it is worth checking out if you want a specific gender of child. We were initially put off by the $47 price point, but the fact that Spencer offers a lifetime no questions asked refund policy eases any concerns. And you can't go past that her success rate is phenomenal when it comes to sex selection so she must be doing something right.
